Our STEM and Art focused program.

Welcome to our dedicated homeschool program!

Designed for children aged 6-13 (NESA Stages 1, 2, and 3/4), our activities blend hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with creative Art explorations. Each week features a unique theme, fostering curiosity, problem-solving, and artistic expression in a supportive, inclusive environment. Whether your child attends one day or all four, they'll gain valuable skills while having fun.

How the Program Links to NESA

Our activities are carefully aligned with the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) syllabuses, ensuring educational rigour without compromising creativity. For each stage:

  • Stage 1 (Years 1-2): Focuses on foundational skills like observation and simple patterns, drawing from Science and Technology K-6 (e.g., Living World, Working Scientifically) and Creative Arts K-6 (Visual Arts).

  • Stage 2 (Years 3-4): Builds inquiry and measurement, incorporating Earth and Space, Physical World, and Mathematics K-10 strands.

  • Stage 3/4 (Years 5-8): Emphasises advanced concepts such as ecosystems, forces, and data analysis, linking to Science 7-10, Technology 7-8, Mathematics K-10, and Visual Arts 7-10.

Syllabus areas are noted for each activity below, helping you track progress and meet homeschool reporting requirements. We update the program each term to reflect seasonal themes or syllabus updates, keeping it fresh and relevant.

Program Structure

Sessions run Mondays and Fridays, with flexible attendance—perfect for homeschool families with varying schedules. Each 3-hour session is standalone, so no prior knowledge is needed:

  • Setup: Introduction to the day's theme and materials.

  • Hands-On Work: Core experiment, building, or exploration.

  • Unstructured: Time for children to socialise and connect!

  • Reflection: Quick share and pack away!

We operate in a calm, open space that encourages collaborative play. With two dedicated assistants on hand, every child receives personalised support during activities. We also promote mentorship, where older children (Stage 3/4) guide younger ones (Stages 1-2), building leadership, empathy, and social skills in a natural, peer-led way.
